Max Beginner Flat Fee
This package is designed for tax preparers who know how to prepare returns and have experience working in another tax office and have clients who want to work with them. The tax preparer has a good knowledge of tax preparation, compliance and rules and regulations. The tax preparer will need to have a PTIN and is in the process of obtaining an EFIN. In this model the tax preparer is charged a flat fee of $65 for each return processed. Every return will be audited by a Maxim agent to make sure that the tax preparer is following all the guidelines needed to submit the return to the IRS and the agent will submit the return.
Max Pro
This package is for tax professionals who are seasoned tax preparers, have a good client base and want to run their own tax office. The tax preparer does not need assistance to prepare returns, understands the IRS rules and regulation to submit returns, follows the guidelines etc. This individual will have their own PTIN along with their own EFIN. They only pay a $20 filing fee for each return submitted.
